This is a very 1970's approach to this contest. I love that this doesn't sound all electronic and bass pumping. Your idea is very refreshing, back to real live instrument playing, sadly is unique in this day in age. I respect classics and even the spirit of classic, which this embodies. This implies an uplifting and heavenly feeling with the melody and chord progression. Peace and relaxation are also heavily implied which go very well with the contest criteria as well. Very good job on this. 9.1

I really don't like to stick only to one genre, i like experimenting with different genres, so yeah i have some variety of songs here.

This has a pretty epic feeling to it. As your title implies, I feel like a short journey to heaven is taking place. You had an implied underlying beat and a literal one to that hopped in there. The direction it takes when the beat goes full on isn't quite as desirable, until the beat has a chance to establish itself, then I got used to it. The chords and melodies used were very uplifting and heavenly in nature. I felt good emotionally, and that friend, makes this a success! I don't think I have ever heard a song this long on NG, but it was good. Your typical audience will lose interest after about 3 minutes, just FYI. I think you could have successfully crammed your vision into a 3-5 minute version of this. 8.9

This song starts out sad sounding and moves to a slightly more uplifting progression. I felt like there wasn't enough treble or bass in this mix. It sounds like a lot of middle range. I'm curious if this was intentional, regardless it is nice to hear a piece that is pounding my ears right off. This was calming in nature and easy on the ears. That lead places a combination of notes that almost sounds traditional Asian in nature, that was kind of cool. You were successful in creating an uplifting and heavenly feeling in the same song. Nice work. 8.7

[Acid Paradox - Happy Song!!]

COOL

This has an entrancing heartbeat thing going on. That voice was a little creepy hehe. I loved the slow moving nature of the beat and melody. This is definitely charged with some emotions, other than happiness. I feel some hate and agression mixed in, which is wonderful. Good job on this, I was rockin.

Another work of yours that is bound for the movies or a video game. This reminds me a bit of the epic sounding music of Oblivion. I loved listening to this a few times.

This is an excellent piano piece. There is a lot of emotion charged in this melody. Excellent work on this. Somebody should be singing to this!

Very cool

Excellent sounds used here! I like slow moving string/wind themes such as this, they invoke so much emotion. This sounds like it belongs in a dramatic moment in a movie.

Nice Soundtrack-esque fell

Nice orchestration. Sounds like something that belongs in a panorama shot of a valley or canyon in a movie. Maybe even capturing the sadness of death or a long journey. It definitely has the workings of a soundtrack for a movie or video game. Good job on this.

Excellent work

I love your experimenting that is happening on your virtual music "parchment". Very quality samples I'm hearing. I like the switchup to silence and weird stuff at the end. This pounds hard and keeps my body moving. Good job on this. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Nice tune here. Sounds like you may have been inspired by some daft punk or other electronic mainstream artists. Nice quality sounds and nicely defined beat. I was nodding my head to this song. Looking forward to seeing the finished product for sure. :)
