Very Touching

I really enjoyed this. The story telling was a bit slow for my taste, and the art could use some help. But very nice, and I appreciate all the work you put into this. I also admire your attitude through such a hard time. Cheers.

Effective...

I really felt sad for the little dog. You did a good job of making the audience empathize with the character. The animation was good. I actually thought the use of subtitles was effective. I think it would have been nice had you spent a little more time drawing the background elements...maybe so that they would match the style of the dog more closely (Picky). I also didn't understand the pink things. It would be great to see a sequel where his family comes to get him... Nice work!

Wonderful!

Thank you for this. This was brilliant.

Warm Fuzzy

A nice, warm piece of work. This would do very well with a young audience I'll bet. The colors are cheerful and the action is constantly mild. The characters are lovable and well portrayed. Even though you might have thought the beginning was too cute, I think it was important to develop the characters' personalities and relationships. The graphics are nicely done. I have to agree with Justicles on many of the points he made concerning the timing and animation. I think there is room for improvement. The part where the blue robot transforms into an angel robot was a little hard to understand. I think you could have made that part a little more clear. There were a few other transition points that were a bit confusing as well. Again, timing issuees... The music was appropriate but I also think you could have used a few more sound fx. Over all, I enjoyed it. Despite its flaws, you told a good story effectively. It even had a moral. It took me back to the days of Care Bears. Nice work.

Lambi responds:

I think with the angel bit the problem was that he had to keep moving.
It would be cool if some kids could see this...

Best damn thing I have seen in a long time

This kicked so much ass! Keep up the awsome work! I so look forward to more. Way to capture the essence of Spidey.

Something Different

This somehow reminded me a little of some of the animation styles in the original "Heavy Metal" and in the "Monty Python." It's nice to see some different stylistic things like this on Newgrounds. I think your combined usage of raster, vector and 3D elements was effective. Though there were a few parts that were a bit disturbing, I liked it. Nice Work!

Very underated

I loved this... The artwork needs some work and the story needs a few kinks worked out. But overall this is a great production. You need vocals for the talking and you need to learn how to master your sound, your music levels were all off, I could barely hear them. This cartoon will be blammed I think, but don't be discouraged... most people will not watch it to the end like I did. I really liked it. Keep posting and keep in mind my advice.

thanks man its bout time i got some advice instead of just telling me how shit it was so they feel big. it was my first time using flash and it was just for a project at school so thats why it goes for so long and why the graphics arent very good. im re-doing it and trying to learn how to use flash coz im no good at it so hopefully that version will go better. cheers

Nice Work

Well done. Its seems like a bit of an improvement from the first episode. I didn't even mind the medieval heavy metal this time. I look forward to the next one!

Good but Not So Good

While the animation and design were well done, the subject matter was awful. I might have been more entertained had your cartoon been about something far less discusting. The guy just pooped way too much for me. The music was too repetitive also. The plot concept of a guy trying to do good in a way that is less than desirable by society has its virtues, but some things are just plain raunchy no matter how you look at it. I really tried to like this one. I look forward to seeing other submissions from you in the future that address subjects other than fecal matter.

Nice Work

I really appreciate the effort that went into this. The story line was simple, yet entertaining since you devoted so much time and care into telling it. The art and style was consitently good through out, the animation was effective and the characters were interesting enough for a first episode. I especially liked how the zombie punched through the door. I also felt that the effects animations were particularly strong. In the future you might try to use a greater variety of different camera angles and depths in your scenes. I noticed there were a lot of plain, front and profile shots in your movie (Nit-picky suggestion). A little more atmosphere could help with the mood too. For example, if you had the zombies walking out of some think fog when they advance on the town, the over-all effect of their appearance would have been more striking. Some of the choices of music were a little off, I felt. It all fit the mood nicely, but I can't help but think of "Kull the Conquerer" when I hear heavy metal in a medieval film. Over all, very good. I'm sure you learned a lot and I'm betting your next one will be even better.

Much of the flash work done in the past 5 years has been at a professional level, so we are sorry not much has been posted on Newgrounds. FR 3 is still a project that we will see through to completion SOMEDAY. :)
