I used Cakewalk's Drag and Drop Drummer Lite for this particular song (and most of the others), but now I have some more realistic loops that I cobble together with Cakewalk's Guitar Tracks Pro.

Don't quantize

Sounds like you quantized some of that melody. That just creates problems unless you are setting the quantize settings to really small note increments. (1/32nd and 1/64th notes) Your melody was out of time due to your setting it at 1/4 or 1/8th notes, possibly even 1/16th notes)
Otherwise, great try, I like the sound.

yeah i noticed that problem too but I erally could not solve it. Or maybe it is just that ive been using Fruity Loops for a month.
